  • Arlington Assembly Plant in Arlington, Texas – manufactures the Yukon and Yukon XL.
  • Lansing Delta Township Assembly Plant in Delta Township, Michigan – manufactures the Acadia.
  • Shreveport Operations in Shreveport, Louisiana – manufactures the Canyon.
  • Wentzville Assembly Plant in Wentzville, Missouri – manufactures the Savana.
  • CAMI Assembly Plant in Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada – manufactures the Terrain.

  • The Rapid Motor Vehicle Company was founded by Max Grabowsky, and it produced some of the first trucks ever manufactured.
  • In 1909, General Motors acquired Rapid Motor, leading to the formation of the General Motors Truck Company.
  • In 1912, the company released the first mass-produced truck and sold over 22,000.
  • The U.S. Military relied heavily on the company during WWII. Over 600,000 trucks were manufactured for the military.
